The collection presents furniture made from recycled fabric, reinterpreting the concept of reusing resources soberly and colourfully. Studio Nendo, known for its unique design approach, has modelled lamps, chairs and tables by combining textile scraps from production. The collection conveys a vibrant and understated atmosphere with a distinctive Japanese stylistic signature. The term ‘Hana-arashi’ evokes the beauty and movement of cherry petals dancing in the wind, reflecting sensitivity to nature and the reuse of materials. The base of the design uses overlapping and welded fabric cuttings to increase its strength and create plays of colour and translucence.
